VFW Post 8541 offers three $5,000 Educational Scholarships for 2023
Eligibility: VFW Post 8541/Auxiliary members, immediate family, 2.5+ GPA, high school seniors or current college students
Submit a personal letter, financial office contact, academic transcripts, and two educator reference letters
Deadline: April 30, 2023; send applications to 2222 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218
Incomplete applications will not be considered; selected recipients may be asked for a photo

2023 VFW Scholarship Recipient!

Hello, everyone. My name is Athena Premejo, and I have the honor of being the twenty twenty three scholarship recipient from the veteran of Foreign Wars post eight five four one. I'd like to come on here and say thank you so so much for your financial assistance as I attend Cal poly in the fall. I thank you so much for your generosity you guys have already made an impact on my education.

I'd also like to take the time to thank you brave soldiers for your service. Once again, thank you so so much, and God bless you all.

ROTC Scholarship

VFW Post 8541 offers two $5,000 JROTC, Eagle Scout, Gold Award Educational Scholarships for 2023
Eligibility: Bexar County JROTC members, Eagle Scouts, Gold Award recipients, high school seniors, 2.5+ GPA
Submit a personal letter, financial office contact, academic transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, JROTC/Eagle Scout/Gold Award proof, and teacher reference letter
Deadline: April 30, 2023; send applications to 2222 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218
Incomplete applications will not be considered; selected recipients may be asked for a photo
